So as I was driving in to work today, I decided to pop on Bartstool Rundown. With so much drama going on in the world of sports, I figured “lets hear the fellas’ takes on all of this is”. As usual they were pretty spot on. Although, I didn’t understand Rone defending OBJ. Sure, the LSU players respect him, but with the aftermath of New Orleans those same college kids are watching as he’s getting dragged all over social media. But I digress.
Toward the end of the show, Dave mentioned having heard one of the most blatant lies in the history of Barstool. That claim alone was enough to perk my ears up. He went on to say that he overheard 120lbs of skin and bones, Frankie, lie to Nate the Greats face, about not wanting to go out to the Nassau Coliseum and watch the Islanders play the Capitals. Not only was Nate trying to be a nice guy/coworker but he figured maybe there was an opportunity to create content. Frankie aka Regina George declined Nate’s request on the sole basis of Nate not being worthy of Frankie’s collegiality.
So that got me thinking. Write this blog and hopefully get Nate to attend the game with me. If Nate needs a friend to cheer on the Capitals, I have no problem playing that role. Not because I feel bad for Nate and his feelings being hurt, but because Frankie is a tool and tools need to be taught a lesson. One day you’ll be that guy who feels left out. Sure the roses smell good right now, but karma is a bitch and shell come back to slap ya.
Disclosure, I am not a Washington Capitals fan, but if Nate accepts I will be the loudest cheering person in that building. Don’t get me in those seats. You don’t want to see this bad guy walking into the building. Last thing them Islanders need on a brisk Saturday afternoon.
